The main field of study in performative practices is communication, mindfulness, multitasking, presence, authorship, community building, creating statement and moderating processes through basic ideas about action, body and space.
Alexandr Andriyashkin has been teaching performative practices since 2006 mainly through laboratories, 3−7 day workshops and modular teaching within theatre institutions.
The approach is based on the idea that the way we stand shows our attitude to ourselves, the world and others. And the way we walk clearly reflects our attitude to action and interaction.
Usually during classes we work with "simple" tasks and exercises to observe ourselves on a bodily level in relation to basic principles (partnership, communication, group interaction, etc.). The body is a good and accurate marker. By observing something or acquiring a skill in the body, we automatically influence all our attitudes, processes, reactions and structures.
